About Our Purpose:
DOJC Bible Training Institute is designed to help facilitate intentional and effective preparation of Christians for leadership excellence and accurate communication of God's word. It enables students to embrace the demands of ministry from all perspectives and positions. The courses are deliberately structured to promote confidence in speaking before a group, proper method of exegesis (critical analysis for accurate interpretation) of the text and challenge you to think critically. Additionally, the method of the teaching and training provides opportunities for appreciation of concepts and principles as a learner's necessity.
The courses engage the students from a theological perspective, but under the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit of God. This type of marriage (between the Holy Spirit and theology) produces students who are learners. Learners are persons who are able to approach ministry from a systematic, open and revelatory manner, because they understand there is always more.
These courses are not just for anyone. Persons need to have commitment and willingness to probe deeper and bravery to challenge themselves to be all God has called them to be. The Training Institute is an excellent prerequisite to a major seminary or Bible college for students wanting to have a good foundation or persons who just wish to increase solidarity in God's word. DOJC Bible Training Institute is a non-credit, non-degree program that provides a certificate after the successful completion of each course. These courses are $25.00 per course plus the cost of the book. The courses are taught at seminary level but are also taught so that any student can comprehend. If students put forth sincere efforts, the product of their labor will be an enhancement of their skills and knowledge of the Bible.
